Bergen University College, Faculty of Engineering, has an open position for a 
PhD fellow in computer science/informatics with a focus on model-driven 
engineering (MDE) of software systems.
The PhD position will be part of Bergen University College's strategic research 
programme in software development for distributed systems (DISTECH) 
(http://prosjekt.hib.no/distech/). The purpose of the DISTECH research 
programme is to research and develop new software technologies in order to 
address the challenges in developing modern complex distributed systems. The 
DISTECH programme currently involves eight permanent professors and associate 
professors, and several PhD and master's students. DISTECH is anchored in the 
research and development activities at the Department of Computer Engineering. 
The Department is responsible for the Bachelor programmes in computer 
engineering and information technology, as well as a master's programme in 
software development in collaboration with the Department of Informatics, 
University of Bergen.
