This is the first book, covering the main Petri net approaches to
systems biology. Beginning with three introductory chapters we compiled
different methodological approaches and various applications to diverse
biological systems in several species. The book demonstrates the
usefulness and wide range of applications of Petri net theory to solve
biological questions.
We attempted to made a valuable contribution for scientists and students
in different fields, ranging from mathematics to biology.
