PROFES 2013: Call for Workshop, Tutorial and Panel Proposals

PROFES is the premier forum for practitioners, researchers, and educators to
present and discuss experiences, ideas, innovations, as well as concerns
related to software process and product quality improvement
(http://www.profes-conferences.org).

PROFES 2013 will be the 14th edition of the conference and will take place at
the Azia Resort Hotel in Paphos, Cyprus (http://www.aziaresort.com).

The technical program will feature keynote talks, research papers, and
experience reports on the most relevant topics related to process diversity
management.

PROFES sets high standards and focuses on the most relevant research issues on
software engineering techniques, methods, and technologies for productÅ]focused
software development and process improvement, as well as their practical
application in an industrial setting. Along these lines we welcome panel,
workshop and tutorial proposals that will complement and enhance the research
topics of interest thus offering a wider knowledge perspective and a more
industry and practice oriented approach of software product development.

The proceedings of PROFES 2013 will be published by Springer in the Lecture
Notes on Computer Science (LNCS) series http://www.springer.com/computer/
lncs). Currently we are negotiating with Springer for the publication of
workshop, tutorial and panel proceedings either in the LNCS or in the
Communications in Computer and Information Science series.

A number of workshops, tutorials and panels will be hosted at PROFES, which are
regarded essential to ensure discussion of key issues related to SPI research
and practice. We invite you to propose a workshop, or tutorial, or panel on
interesting topics from on-going research or industrial projects. We are
looking for a description of 2-5 pages including the time requirement.
Tutorials should be either half or full day. In the case of panels, each member
is encouraged to develop a short position statement. Proposers of panels or
workshops are expected to participate in organizing and running them.
