===================================================== CALL FOR PAPERS FOR ADECS'2015 ************************************************************ *ADECS' 2015* The Second International Workshop on Petri Nets for Adaptive Discrete Event Control Systems A satellite event of PETRI NETS 2015 and ACSD 2015 Brussels, Belgium - June 22, 2015 http://adecs2015.cnam.fr/ ************************************************************ Introduction The new generation of Discrete Event Control Systems (DECS) is addressing new important criteria as flexibility and agility. To reduce the development cost, these systems should be changed and adapted to their environment without any disturbance. Several academic and industrial research works have been made in recent years to develop reconfigurable adaptive systems. We distinguish in these works two reconfiguration policies: static and dynamic reconfigurations such that static reconfigurations are applied off-line to apply changes before any system cold start, whereas dynamic reconfigurations are dynamically applied at run-time. Two cases exist in the second policy: manual reconfigurations applied by users and automatic reconfigurations applied by intelligent agents. This workshop intends to gather students and researchers who have interests in the application of concurrency modelling and analysis techniques for adaptive DECS. Case studies with specific focus on reconfigurability and demonstrating the specific power of different Petri net classes are especially encouraged. Topics of interest include (but not limited to) : Adaptive Discrete Event Control System, Reconfigurable Petri Nets-based Models, Static and Dynamic Reconfiguration, Petri Nets for Intelligent Systems, Petri Nets for Autonomous Systems, Petri Nets for embedded control systems Verification and Validation of Adaptive Nets Tests and Simulations of Adaptive Systems, Benchmarking, Adaptive Applications. Submission and Publication Information Submitted papers should describe original work that has not been previously published and is not under review for publication elsewhere. There are the following categories of submissions: Regular papers (up to 15 pages including tables, figures, references and appendixes) Short papers (up to 6 pages) Posters up to A0 format. A submission should be clearly assigned to one category. All papers have to be submitted via EasyChair (https://www.easychair.org/conferences/login_as_yes.cgi?a=8394798) Based on the review process, a submission may be accepted as is, accepted with minor changes, rejected or selected for oral presentation only. In the latter case, an abstract will be published. Proceedings will be electronically published with CEUR Workshop Proceedings (http://ceur-ws.org) with consecutive volume numbers for each workshop allocated with PETRI NETS 2015. Special Issue : Best papers will be proposed to be invited for the follow-up publication in Transactions on Petri Nets and other models of Concurrency (ToPNoC). *Important Dates* Deadline for papers: May 10, 2015 Notification of paper acceptance: June 1, 2015 Deadline for final contributions: June 10, 2015 Workshop: June 22, 2015 Program Co-Chairs Kamel Barkaoui, Cedric, Cnam, France Chadlia Jerad, ENSI, Tunisia Program Committee Hassane Alla, France, Farhad Arbab, The Netherlands Mohamed Bakhouya,Morocco Faiza Belala, Algeria Beatrice Bérard, France Luca Bernardinello, Italy Hanifa Boucheneb, Canada Roberto Bruni, Italy Javier Campos, Spain, Piotr Chrzastowski-Wachtel, Poland, Vincenzo De Florio, Belgium Raymond DEVILLERS, Belgium Maria Pia Fanti, Italy Georg Frey, Germany, Abdoulaye Gamatie , France Alessandro Giua, Italy, Luis Gomes, Portugal, Serge Haddad, France Hans-Michael Hanisch, Germany, Vladimír Janoušek, Czech Republic, Jorge Júlvez, Spain Laid Kahloul, Algeria Peter Kemper, USA, Mohamed Khalgui, Tunisia Hanna Klaudel, France, Michael Köhler-Bußmeier, Germany, Radek Koci, Czech Republic, Ouajdi Korbaa ,Tunisia Lars Kristensen, Norway, Alberto Lluch Lafuente, Italy Petrucci Laure, France, Zhiwi Li, China Gaiyun Liu, China Robert Lorenz, Germany, Cristian Mahulea, Spain Ramon Piedrafita Moreno, Spain Andrey Mokhov, UK Daniel Moldt, Germany, Javier Oliver, Spain Wojciech Penczek, Poland, Éric Rutten, France José Luis Villarroel Salcedo, Spain Riadh Robbana, Tunisia Heiko Rölke, Germany, Kleanthis Thramboulidis, Greece, Yamen El Touati, Tunisia Murat Uzam, Turkey, Valeriy Vyatkin, New Zealand, Habib Youssef, Tunisia Weimin Wu, China, Mengchu Zhou, USA This call for papers and additional information about the workshop can be found at http://adecs2015.cnam.fr/ ======================================
