Dear all,

Today, August 21, 2015, ProM 6.5.1 (SilvR+) has been release, see
http://www.promtools.org.

What's new in ProM 6.5.1?

- The Export button is only secltable if an export plug-in exist.

- Default exporters are now provided for some resource types. As a
result, when exporting a Petri net with data, the correct exporter (that is, an
exporter that also exports the data) is selected by default.

- Plug-ins now have categories, like Discovery, Filter, and
Conformance,, and they can be filtered on these categories.

- A new dotted chart that is capable of handling large event logs. The
visualisation allows the user to project arbitrary attributes on the x and
y-axis, as well as for the color (max 1024) and shape (max 8) of a dot. The
visualisation detects the speed of the computer it is used on and uses that to
decide what fraction of the dots to show in order to guarantee a responsive
user experience.

o Besides the visualisation, the dottedchart offers sorting of traces and
filtering of events. Sorting is available from the left panel and filtering by
right-clicking. All sorting and filtering is done in place without changing the
underlying log. The right-click menu also provides access to export methods to
export the current view as a log or as an image.

o For the dottedchart to function properly the log should declare attributes
as global and should use standard XES extensions as much as possible.

- An improved CSV importer, with bug fixes, usability improvements,
auto-detection of data types, and an expert option.

- Dot visualizers for many graph objects, like Petri nets and
transition systems.

- An improved animation in the Inductive Visual Miner.

- The Inductive Miner now supports the interleaving operator.

- The configurations in the Divide And Conquer packages have been
overhauled.

- The decomposed replayer now handles unreliable results correctly.

- When changing the memory option using the Package Manager, the
script (.bat and .sh) files are now updated instead of rewritten from scratch.
As a result, local changes will not get lost.

- A major bug was fixed in XESame, which also now includes some
improvements.

- Performance improvements in XESLite.

- XESLite now also includes a (limited) query language.

additional details on the release can be found on

Kind regards,

Eric.
