Dear tool developers

As you know, Petri Nets 2021 cannot be a physical event this year, due
to the COVID-19 pandemic. So, we will organize an online event focused
on questions and discussions.

For tool demonstrations, you can submit a recorded tool demo (10 min
approx). Any PetriNet 2021 attendee can submit a tool demo; they will
be reviewed by the tool committee.

The purpose of this email is to give you some help and instructions
about: how to record yourself, and how to submit your material for the
conference. Please read these instructions carefully.

2. Videos and description
-------------------------

The format of the conference is pre-recorded 10mn videos and live Q&A
sessions.  Please focus your *tool demonstration* video on the purpose
and usage of your tool and not the theory behind it.  Showing how to
use the tool to solve some interesting use cases would make a nice
demonstration.  There will be an award for the best tool demonstration
video, but before all, consider making a video that you would be proud
of to reuse on your tool web site to tease visitors.

We also require a short abstract describing the tool capabilities and
a link to the main webpage.

We would like you to upload these files by Monday 21 June 2021, and
notify us at [email protected]. We will then make these videos
publicly available by Thuesday 22nd June.

ELABORATION OF YOUR VIDEOS:

There are numerous tools for capturing your screen, video editing,
etc. that could be very useful for your purpose.  If you already have
your toolset, then use it.  One can also mention Premiere from Adobe,
which is a good tool for video editing (working on MacOS and Windows).

But if you are new to it, then we can point out an open-source tool
working on Unix, MacOS and Windows: OBS Studio.  Here are two useful
links for this tool:

 - the tool itself https://obsproject.com/
 - a complete tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NycDnsXb1fc

UPLOADING YOUR VIDEOS:
