Matt, I'm using a particular changeset of petsc-dev (git checkout 0c8c14c5) because PFLOTRAN is relying on that particular changeset. Can you point to the changset that this was fixed in petsc-dev? Btw, is this issue fixed in petsc release 3.5.1?
