Pls ignore my previous email. The followings are the test results: the previous error in using -snes_mf_opertor was due to my own code. After modification, i.e. using different A and B and assemble both and in FormJacobian the native jacobian was assembled into B. Then with -snes_mf_operator led to the results shown below. The first three steps converged but with a diverged reason -6 at step 4.
