Hello Sean, does Petsc-dev use SuperLU_DIST (v3.0) or still v2.5? I have updated both petsc-3.2-p5 and the latest dev version. Both configurations tell me ----------------------------------------- SuperLU: Includes: -I/home/xxx/libs/petsc/linux-gnu-shared-opt/include Library: -Wl,-rpath,/home/xxx/libs/petsc/linux-gnu-shared-opt/lib -L/home/xxx/libs/petsc/linux-gnu-shared-opt/lib -lsuperlu_4.2
SuperLU_DIST: Includes: -I/home/xxx/libs/petsc/linux-gnu-shared-opt/include Library: -Wl,-rpath,/home/xxx/libs/petsc/linux-gnu-shared-opt/lib -L/home/xxx/libs/petsc/linux-gnu-shared-opt/lib -lsuperlu_dist_2.5 ------------------------------------------ As long as I understood through the discussion, petsc-dev uses superlu-dist-3.0 and superlu-4.3, right? or this update will be only available until the next major release? best regards Ping Am 27.10.2011 21:18, schrieb Sean Farley: > > The error is related to the new SuperLU_DIST (v3.0), not serial > SuperLU. > In PETSc / SuperLU_DIST wrapper: superlu_dist.c, line 634, DOUBLE > should be replaced by SLU_DOUBLE. > > > Sherry, the problem is that you updated the SuperLU tarball to have > the new enum type but that petsc-3.2 was not updated for the new > interface, hence the breakage.
