Unfortunately, it does not. The behaviour is still exactly the same (unless I 
download blas/lapack during PETSc install): either it gets wildly incorrect 
answers or it segfaults. This is still ex19 in src/snes/examples/tutorials.

I think it is time to go whine to the admins...
