Thank you for your quick reply,I will try with a reboot. Regarding the compiler my idea was to use MSVC express 2008. I thought it was possible to compile both library with gcc under cygwin. >From your reply I guess this is not the case. Does this mean I should compile Petsc with MSVC express as well, isn't it?
