[petsc-users] ILU - factor fill ratio

Hi,

I am using the ILU preconditioner. I am looking at "factor fill ratio" 
in the output. Is there a way to a priori calculate what this value may 
be to determine whether enough memory is available? How does PETSc 
determine this value?
