Might be unrelated, but I am also seeing a lot of SNES failures, on
problems that used to converge fine, since I pulled the latest PETSc
'next' branch yesterday.
This is using a FD Jacobian so it isn't a Jacobian coding problem. Same
behaviour with LU linear solver, so it's not the linear solver either.
I'm trying to bisect and find out where it stopped working.
