Peter - how do you 'pass' or 'keep state' for FTP with your transparent firewall. I have been looking into FTP's special problems for my transparent wall and am looking at trying ftp-proxy. Do you have any specific rules for FTP and do you only have a client inside the firewall or are you set up to work with a server too?

Works as well as I can tell. I use it on an invisible firewall, ADSL 1.5Mb down/ 256Kb up. I can do an ftp upload and download to my ISP, and still browse with little to no delay. =) On Tue, Mar 18, 2003 at 07:24:17AM +0100, Marc Balmer wrote: : Gentlemen, : : does ALTQ perform well (if it works at all) on a bridge used as : firewall?
