Don't see why that would not work. If you want a very lightweight
alternative then rdr to netcat (nc) and have it
return the page no matter the incoming data. As has been pointed out,
no reason to use an IP, you could use a port. As you're already
running apache you're probably better off just using that from a
maintenance perspective.
