Yes, FreeBSD 5.x is based on OpenBSD 3.5 pf, where the anchor name was limited to 16 characters. OpenBSD 3.6 increased the limit to 64 characters, which was imported into FreeBSD 6.x. I'd upgrade to RELENG_6. You can try increasing PF_ANCHOR_NAME_SIZE in pfvar.h instead, but that's not supported ;) Daniel
