Hi,
Recently I am working with PF under Freebsd 5.3. What I am doing is to
use ALTQ to limit the bandwidth and queue length. I found it is a little
bit weird since I got the bandwidth limited but I can not see any drops
on the queue by using "pfctl -s queue -v -v" ( I use iperf to see the
bandwidth goes down so I think there must be packet drops somewhere).
Could you give me some idea on this? If I use PF to set ALTQ, is there
still an IP queue existed in the system? And how does ALTQ do to limit
the bandwidth.
I will be very appreciated if you can help.
