I'd appreciate some clarification with the use of the bandwidth parameter with hfsc on queue rules.
It's already been established that the use of the "bandwidth" parameter with hfsc queues while at the same time specifying a sufficient complete service curve profile is unnecessary and at least "confusing": http://marc.info/?l=openbsd-misc&m=107695019310171 But it's not clear to me that if I define the service curves for a queue, what I should set the "bandwidth" parameter to. Should it be the linkshare value? The upperlimit value? Will the number specified in the "bandwidth" parameter ever override what I specify in the service curves? ____________________________________________________________________________________ Moody friends.
