Good day,

How can I match packets generated from the same host running pf in an

"in" rule.

For example (I am running FreeBSD 6.2) the host running pf also runs

squid. So all web traffic gets originated from my pf host. I need to

match all packets from squid in a "pass in on $int_if route-to" rule

so that I can load balance it across 2 out going links, as given in pf

tutorial.

When ever I try to match, the packets are getting matched only in the

"pass out on $ext_if" Matching here is of not much use because, even

though the round-robin works, packets exit via non default gw

interface with the source ip of default gateway. (ie I am not able to

nat on non default gw interface after route-to)

Again my question boils down to can I load balance the traffic from

squid, if my squid box has two internet connections and running pf ?

Thanks and regards,

raj
