Check the version of msvcrt.dll.
I couple of months ago I had problems with PB getting a Dr. Watson when
editing a
particular object function. The problem was traced back to this DLL. When
I installed the latest release of MSDN, the C runtime was updated to version
6 and all of our other PCs had version 5.

Subject: PFCSIG GPF On MSVCRT.DLL
Importance: High
Environment: PB 6.0, Oracle 7.3
I have a problem when I retrieve into TreeView. I'm getting this error
message GPF "This program has performed an illegal operation and will be
shut down..... AppName caused an exception 10H in module MSVCRT.DLL at..."
In some other machines the application is running perfectly.
NOTE: MSVCRT.DLL file is the Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime library. I think
(may be) I'm missing some library which I do know which one.
Does anyone know how I can get around this problem?
Thanks in advance, I would appreciate any input.
