You could use the same kind of SQL as I mentioned in a previous
posting...
select x, y, z from category_table where (x = :as_argument and y = 'Asset
Category 1') or (y <> 'Asset Category 1')
This way, the argument will only apply to the Asset Category 1, all others
the argument is ignored.

Subject: PFCSIG PFC Tree View
I would like to build a tree view by passing
the retrieval argument to the datasource (data window). For
Eg:.
I have a Field Asset Category -1 - 1. 1 Group
- 1---------- 1.1.1. - 1-Service -1, 1.1.2. - 1-Service - 2
1. 2 Group - 2---------- 1.2.1 - 2-Service-1 , 1.2.2
- 2-Service-2
1.3 Group
- 3
Asset Category -2 -2. 1 Group - 1---------- 2.1.1. - 1-Service -1, 2.1.2. -
1-Service - 2
2. 2 Group - 2---------- 2.2.1 - 2-Service-1 , 2.2.2
- 2-Service-2
2.3 Group - 3
I would like to have a selected tree for Asset Category 1 and I don't
want to retrieve data for any other category. Is there any way to retrieve the
data for a tree based on a argument.
Can I also have the datasource of the datawindow as stored procedure.
Waiting for a feedback.
Regards
Ravi
