After scanning the window the database will contain something like this:
    window: w_xxx
    control:
  tab_request.tabpage_xxx_information.dw_xxx_information.request_xxx_purchase_or
  der_issue_date

    object_type: Column

As you will notice that the control name can get very long. The length is set
to 64, however I increased the field length in my database to 128 and then
update all the datawindows that belong to the PFC Security applications and my
  application's pfc*.pbls.

In short, yes. The exception, if you are using dynamic tabpages, then you have
some work in front of you. The scanner looks at the *.pbls and create what the
objects will create without using your code. In other words, it does not read
your code to figure out what you might do.

Hi

I have added user-objects to a tab control.
Can I set security on the individual tabpages thus obtained?

Thanx
Sreekumar
