I think your problem comes from the fact that there is only 1 dropdown, not
one for each row. For what you want you will probably have to do something
on the rowfocus event. However, it is not that simple, if you remove the
values from a dropdown on another row its decoded value will disappear from
the display. Our usual method to get around this is to move the decoded
value
into a string column and make the string column visible for all rows that do
not have focus and the drop down for the one that does have focus. Then
eveything
works.

Subject: PFCSIG DW Tabular Problem

Hi
Sorry, this is not a PFC Problem. I'm working in PB
6.5/Oracle 8. I have a tabular Datawindow in which 2nd
Column is a Dropdown datawindow and retrieves basing
on the selection of the item in the FIrst
column..(Retrieval Argument is there for the
DDDW).Everything retrieves well till here..But, To my
surprise, from the third row, when I select a
different item, Child Datawindow retrieves 3 items
basing on the retrieval argument, but, it also fills
up the first two items in the First and Second Rows
which it should not. I cannot take Dropdown list box
and write a SQL in itemchanged event, for, the column
width doesnot match with the values and it's giving
the problem. ANy other better alternative is welcome..
Thanks in advance....
