Hi!, I'm trying to search for text strings in a MS Word document and I
have been using file service's of_fileread() function on the document and I
usually got a truncated return value on my reference variable. The reason for
the truncated value is that MS Word Documents have some NULL char (ASCII 0)
embedded within the document and PB's fileread() function translates this as an
end-of-file (EOF). I have tried using the fileseek() function to bypass the
NULL char but it seems that the documents have numerous NULL char which affects
the speed of searching and bypassing the NULL char.
Do you have any workaround on how can I bypass the NULL char? or do you have any
function that could search MS Word documents without speed constraints?
Thanks,
Jeff
