I don't think there's a PFC solution to this, but....

I'm trying to solve a problem where a user has the Windows 98 regional
settings set to "Greek", and can therefore add greek characters to text
fields in the application. This works great and the characters display
perfectly. However, when he runs a report, the characters are garbled,
both in preview mode and on the actual printed output.

I'm pretty sure this is some kind of font issue, but I haven't figured out
the best solution. Here are the details:

Display font for windows: MS Sans Serif, 8pt
Display/print font for REPORTS: Arial, 9 pt.

At first glance, I assumed that Arial simply didn't support greek
characters, but looking at the character map of both fonts, neither of them
appear to contain those characters. Why then do the characters display fine
in MS Sans Serif? So, if that's the case, do reports need to use MS Sans
Serif?

If that's the solution, that's simple, but it still seems strange. I
initially used MS Sans Serif for reports but users complained that on some
printers the text came out extremely tiny. So, I switched to Arial, which I
thought was the preferred standard.

I'm using PB 5.0.4, soon to be upgraded to 6.5, and PFC.

Thanks for any ideas!

PS: I can't personally observe the behavior because my machine doesn't have
a Greek regional setting (Win95), and I can't go to the user's machine,
because it is in Greece.
