Hello:

I just migrated from PB 6.5 to 7.0 and I am using ORACLE 8.0.5 and WinNT
4.0 Build:1381.

I have a u_tvs descendant with the first level from an SQL and the other
recursive levels
from a DataWindow definition. Registering goes fine including picture
and selected picture
columns.  Although in 6.5 I had to use special names for the columns;
for example, instead
of "current_name" I had to use "ccurrent_name". Aparently, in 7.0
theres no need for these
"c" prefixes (BTW, where do those come from? Is it a default for the
DWSyntax or can they be
customized?).  I was using a calculated column "x.name || ' ' || y.name
as current_name" but
I thought this was the problem so I already took it out.

Now, when I try to expand the second level, I get a message from the
PowerBuilder Class Library:

        "For certain functionality the PFC DataStore requires a
reference to its parent window. One
of these cases has been encountered. To let the Datastore know who its
parent window call the
of_SetParentWindow(...) function after the DataStore creation."

Debugging the PFC classes, I found out this just comes from the cache
service after a previous
database error:

        ORA-1722:invalid number, but when I inspect my SQL no error
appears.

Has anyone seen this or do you have a suggestion about it? I looked in
the Sybase Infobase and it
suggested to redo the DataWindow, which I already did. Also, in the
profile definition, I tried with
"Disable Bind" and "Static Bind" checked and I am not "Enclosing Table
and Column Names in Quotes"

Is there a known problem like this with Oracle 8.0.5?

Help, plz!
