Randy,

You can use PFC's resize service, which works pretty nicely for our
application.  This will move controls to relative window positions when the
window is resized. This coupled with the preferences service allows window
sizes to be saved to the registry.

You could easily extend this so that the preference service's restore method
will check current screen resolution and make adjustments if the resolution
is smaller than the saved preference.

I know some people have written services that change font and control size
(not position) to work with different screen resolutions, but I don't agree
with that strategy as it prevents users of higher resolution monitors from
taking advantage of additional landscape with MDI applications.
