Apparently,
it’s a known bug in the PB6.5 version. You need to apply the patch 6.5.1
from the PB website.

PFCSIG Reset of pg. # not working properly
Hi
Folks,
Sorry for this non-pfc question. I
need to print a report having the "'Page ' + page() + ' of ' +
pageCount()". The dw has a group in it having "New page on group
break" and "Reset page number on group break" turned
on. What happens is pageCount() gets reset after a new group starts
but page() still keeps on incrementing without
resetting!!
For e.g. If the report prints out 30
pages with 3 groups of 10, 5 and 15 pages respectively. The 'Page ' + page()
+ ' of ' + pageCount() shows
Page 1 of 10 ...... Page 10 of 10
...... Page 11 of 5 ...... Page 15 of 5 ...... Page 16 of 15 ...... Page 30
of 15 .
with the page() not getting reset at
all. What I need is :-
Page 1 of 10 ...... Page 10 of 10
...... Page 1 of 5 ...... Page 5 of 5 ...... Page 1 of 15 ...... Page 15 of
15 .
Has anybody have any idea how this
could get be done -- PFC or no PFC. (The computed column is in the header of
the group.)
TIA,
Karthik S.
Have a nice day.
:-)
