PB6.5.1, Oracle8 Server, SQL*Plus ??? Client, Oracle8 Server Security and Password Maintenance Currently, we are using PB6.5.1, Oracle 8 Server, and SQL*Plus 3.3.2.0.2 Client on Win9? and WinNT. We are testing the features the Oracle 8 Security password maintenance/management features. There is a point at which the users account expires. After expiration we use Oracle's grace period to allow the user to login and change their password. When we use the SQL*Plus 8 Client, and the account is in the grace period, we are unable to make a connection to the server to allow the user to change their password.
