Hi Anand,
Have you tried checking out if the SQL is the culprit. U say it runs faster
on SQL Anywhere but the same SQL would need minor modification and would run
just as good on Oracle. Mind you Oracle expects and goes about SQL's
differently from other databases.
Also try
------------------------------
Explain Plan
Set Statement_id = 'testing sql'
for <youSQL statements>
------------------------------
and try analyzing and tuning ur SQL for Oracle.
