The *easiest* way is to have the Excel5 user use the File/SaveAs option
to save the data in tab-delimited format.  You make your DataWindow object
match with the same columns as the spreadsheet, you can use the
dw.ImportFile(...) function to read it in.
   Unfortunately, the easiest way for the programmer is not always feasible
for the user.  Users typically don't like the extra step, and you might not
be able to enforce the process.
   The alternative is to use the ODBC Excel drivers, and set up a data
source.  At run-time, you can attach to it with a transaction object (e.g.,
SQLCA, or one you create just for importing), and then can use normal
DataWindow Retrieve function.
   The online help gives pretty detailed instructions on setting this up.
