We have a puzzling date problem. We are using PB 6.5 with PFC on an NT4-5
operating system.

We have 2 machines that at one time was set up with a European date format.
The machines have been set back to the united states English, with the short
date set to 'MM/DD/YY' . We have checked the registry settings and can only
find the new date format 'MM/DD/YY' and no reference to the European date,
that we can find.

In our application datawindows the date fields have for the edit and format
'MM/DD/YY'. The application works and function fine on other machines but on
the 2 machine if the user tries to enter a new date either manually or using
the drop down calendar PB will give an error of invalid date format when
entered in the MM/DD/YY format. If the user enters the date manually in the
European format PB will accept the date entered with no error and will
display it in the European format but if you try to them save it to the data
base it will error out in Oracle as invalid.

We have even unloaded PB from the machine and reloaded it again with no
change in the action.

Has anyone seen this type of problem or have any ideas as to what might be
causing the problem?

Thanks
