Hi,

if u have a foreign key ( referential integrity ) bet. 2 tables u have to
drop the foreign key or else u will get referential error coz. u have to
delete the detail records ( detail table ) before the master records
master table ) unlike in sql anywhere there is an option in foreign key
dialog box if u want a cascaded delete, delete constraint in parent
table....

it's either delete first the detail records or drop the foreign key and
create a trigger on the master table to perform a cascaded delete.

Is there any open position in your company ?

Subject: PFCSIG Referential Error in Linkage Environment

Hi All,

Does anyone of you knows a workaround in deleting data from two tables with
referential (Primary Key and Foreign Key) working in a linkage environment
? Because everytime I tried to delete a row a Referential Error appeared.

Thanks,

Denz
