I am by no means an authority on this topic, but I don't think you need to
do anything in EAServer to enable SSL. SSL is supported natively in most
modern browsers and is a webserver configuation option. You mention
Verisign so I am thinking that maybe you are refering to digital
certificates??? If so, then I read in one of the many EAS whitepapers on
Sybases website that they partnered with Entrust Technologies. You may find
something useful here:

Although this is not a PFC question I am desperate for an answer as we are
trying to get our WEB site up ready prior to the Olympics (3 days to go)
Can anyone suggest where I can go to get SSL certification for EA Server.
The obvious one Verisign do not support EA server and to make things worse
they have never heard of it. I have also searched the Sybase site with no
joy and Sybase in Sydney have not as yet been able to give me a quick
answer.
