People are accidentally discarding their Economic Impact Payments,
because they look like scams [and there are scams]

There are lots of stories appearing about this problem. Apparently something
around a quarter or more of these payment cards haven't been activated, because they really do look like scams and MANY people have understandably
discarded them. There is a phone number to request replacements, as
noted in the article:
