More on Google's new "Topics" advertising API

It's interesting and well thought out, and apparently provides users
with the option of disabling it completely.
But my hunch is that it will not satisfy critics, some of whom are
dogmatically anti-advertising, and don't give a damn if smaller sites
are starved of all revenue.
