Today's GOP -- and the makers of technology policy
Today's GOP isn't really pro-business. They're pro-fascist. If a given
business will toe the fascist GOP line, all the better, but the goal
of today's GOP is to put in place a fascist theocracy, and that's
their bottom line. Everything else is just fluff to them.
Most of the people making technology policy today -- especially most
politicians -- have a very limited or usually nonexistent/completely
false understanding of technology policy realities. Their goal is to
impose their political will & content micromanagement, period.
