[UNGOOD!] Google Play stops showing app permissions before installs!

Over the last few days I've had a number of Android users asking me
why the Google Play app isn't showing the list of permissions required
by apps before they're installed -- that is, when you're looking over
a listing deciding if you want to install it or not. I just had time
to look at this, and sure enough they're correct! Permission
information also appears to be missing from the Web version of the
Play Store as well.

In both cases there is now a "Data Safety" section for developer
information about how your data is handled -- and for almost every app
I've checked that's empty -- or else in a few cases with verbiage from
the developer.

Totally missing is the list of Android Permissions that has always
been available to peruse BEFORE deciding to install an app. I for one
don't want to install an app and only at run time learn that it's
asking for all sorts of ridiculous permissions.

I know that the rules requiring apps to have data safety information
are quite new, but this is not the same as having ZERO information
about permissions before an app is installed.

I don't know if the Play Store system is in transition, but even if
this is a temporary situation it's pretty awful.
