Florida AG asks Supreme Court to rule on social media content moderation
Florida and Texas, of course, want social media firms to be required to
host racist, antisemitic hate speech and dangerous disinformation. That's
their whole goal. If they get it, user generated content (UGC) will collapse,
because most firms will still refuse to carry it, and that will mean shutting
down most UGC entirely. Major advertisers and infrastructure providers would
also balk at being associated with such vile content. -L
