[EVIL] Microsoft joins the dark side, says it doesn't want to label dangerous
disinformation as false
Microsoft has really joined the evil dark side. In an obvious attempt to
get out from under fascist demands that disinformation be permitted to bloom
on tech platforms, they're touting the old "give people more information, but
don't tell them what's false" bull. And it is bull, because study after
study shows that disinformation by its very nature (alarmist, dramatic)
draws far more views and shares than any possible attempts to correct
the record. Microsoft's stance disgusts me. -L
