If you're locked out of your Google account

The exact same maxim attributed to the medical community also applies
when trying to help a @Google user who has been locked out of their
account: "FIRST DO NO HARM."

This tends to be a problem when users get locked out of their @Google
accounts. They panic, and start taking steps that actually dig the
recovery hole even deeper.

Basically, you really want to avoid getting into the part of the
recovery process that asks you retrospective questions about the
account, because frankly, I've met few people who can successfully
answer most of those.
