Not expecting Elon to ask for my advice ...
After my post yesterday that said:
"... the most interesting thing to watch will be the degree to
which he acknowledges his lack of experience in this area and
reaches out to experts who understand the national and global
implications."
I've received an unexpected number of emails saying in various ways
"Call him and offer your advice!" UH ... Just to be clear about this.
Again, I wish Twitter the best. And indeed, I'm willing to talk to
just about anybody. But, yeah, I *really* don't think that Musk is
gonna be interested in my point of view on these issues. So even as a
deep fantasy suggestion the idea is somewhere south of McMurdo
Station, I suspect.
