Twitter vs. Google
A pretty sure way to earn a block from me [on Mastodon] is to send me
"Kool-Aid" conspiracy theories about #Google. You can send them
elsewhere if you insist, but please not to me. Those conspiracy
theories simply indicate to me that a person doesn't really know what
they're talking about in this respect at least.
Is Google perfect? Of course not. It's people, and people are merely
human. Has Google made mistakes? Absolutely. Welcome to the real
world.
But overall I find Google quite admirable in the Big Tech pantheon,
and when I see people suggesting that they're as bad or worse than
Elon's Twitter that's so incredibly wrong that it crosses the line for
me.
That's my opinion, and that's what I base my social media interactions
upon. Feel free to unfollow me if this is a problem for you. I won't
