Of course, the poll is only symbolic, since he said all along he would
leave as #Twitter CEO when the firm was "stable". He even affirmed
this in a tweet reply directly to me some weeks ago when I noted his
earlier comment. Now we watch to see what happens. If he does step
down, but installs a puppet whose every move he will control, nothing
really changes, of course. And in case you're curious, yes, I did
indeed vote yes that he should step down, even though it's probably
true that he's been the best thing to happen for #Mastodon in a quite
