Uber introduces "call for a ride" service
I was recently musing how I've started going back to using phone-based
services for getting some information quickly rather than dealing with
slow and poorly designed websites.
Coincidentaly, Uber has just announced a service that permits users to
use a phone -- even without a prior account -- to request a ride
by voice, with details coming back by text message.
For now this is only in Florida, California, and Arizona. -L
