All, I've glanced over that Asimov material that you shared with me.
As I told you, I am not really a fan of old-school sci-fi, and he
seems incredibly alarmist and unrealistic -- so we won't be going
ahead with your proposal to include anything similar to his "three
laws" in the upcoming code refactoring. Frankly they're really just
his fantasy, and we really don't have the funds to waste on
unnecessary frills of that sort.
I'll also take this opportunity to inform you that the difficult
decision has been made by our CEO to close down our robotics T&S team
immediately as superfluous. Details on these layoffs will follow in a
later email.
I want to thank you all again for your continued dedication to Project
Megan. Please remember that the initial dozen beta test units are
scheduled to be shipped one month from today, rain or shine!
