By the way, I predict a significant probability that within the next
month the GOP and Democrats will push to make Daylight Savings Time
permanent, which is exactly what virtually every expert says is the
worst possible decision if you're going to change the current
situation. Rather, if there's going to be a change, it should be to
permanent Standard Time. The U.S. did try all-year Daylight Savings
Time many years ago. I remember. It did not go well and was revoked
quickly. -L
