In response to my blog post yesterday:

The "AI Crisis": Who Is Responsible?

https://lauren.vortex.com/2023/04/09/the-ai-crisis-who-is-responsible

I've heard from an array of AI-affiliated engineers confirming my
assertions. They tell of repeatedly warning managers and executives
about the limitations of these generative models, ethical
considerations and other concerns related to how they're being ordered
to do training, processing, public availability, and more -- but being
repeatedly told to move ahead anyway, all of these important issues be
damned. And some fear repeatedly bringing these issues up, convinced
that they will be fired and replaced with more "compliant" workers.

An increasingly untenable situation. -L
