The fall of CNN

Very sad watching CNN now. As much as I disliked Zucker for his
nightmarish role in boosting Trump years ago, he ran CNN vastly more
competently than current management -- and he was forced out over a
personal relationship that was not really of that level.

Now virtually ever day I turn on CNN the programs have ostensibly
changed yet again in both the day and prime segments, like rearranging
the deck chairs on the Titanic. And old phrase but it applies.

Notably, I find myself almost wishing for Don Lemon back in prime. CNN
is now awash with talking heads panel discussions on issues most of
them seem to know little or nothing about. (It's like saying "today
we'll be discussing macroeconomics with Timothy Leary!"). And their
new push to have anchors standing around awkwardly on large sets
rather than sitting just looks stupid.

FOX is lovin' it.
