Terms of Service for Google's Search Labs SGE
My access to Search Labs just went live. In case you're interested,
here's the TOS for SGE (Search Generative Experience):
Privacy Notice
When you turn on SGE in Search Labs, you'll get early access to
generative AI features integrated within Search. This notice and our
Privacy Policy describe how SGE handles your data. Please read them
carefully.
When you interact with SGE, Google collects usage data consistent with
our Privacy Policy (such as your search terms, the responses you
submit, and your interactions with SGE) to provide, improve, and
develop products, services, and machine learning technologies across
Google, including Google's enterprise products such as Google Cloud.
You can turn off SGE at any time.
Please do not include sensitive (e.g. confidential) or personal
information that can be used to identify you or others in your
interactions with SGE features. Some of your SGE data is stored in a
manner that is not associated with your Google account and may be
read, processed, or annotated by human reviewers to help with quality
and improve our products. We take steps to protect your privacy as
part of this process. This includes disconnecting queries from your
Google Account before reviewers see or annotate them.
If you have your Web & App Activity setting turned on, some
interactions with SGE are saved to your Google Account. You can review
or delete these interactions from your account at My Activity. SGE
queries that have been reviewed or annotated by human reviewers are
not deleted when you delete these queries from your Web & App Activity
because they are kept separately and are not connected to your Google
Account.
You do not need to have Web & App Activity enabled to use SGE. Whether
or not you have Web & App Activity enabled, Google will store up to 24
hours of prior conversational search queries which may be used to
provide a contextualized experience.

purposes only. Quality, accuracy, and availability may vary. Don't
rely on generative AI responses as medical, legal, financial, or other
professional advice. Responses do not constitute medical treatment or
diagnosis.
Terms of Service
You agree that your use of SGE is subject to the Google Terms of
Service and the Generative AI Additional Terms of Service.
